Somewhere along the way from drawing superhero comics as a kid to character sketches as an adult, I found my go-to medium in graphite pencil, and realized my favorite subject to draw was people - whether that be the human face, body form, strange or classic fashions, eccentric hair, or all of the above. It's fun to think I can engage someone in some way by sharing a piece of paper I meticulously shaped some carbon onto.
