My favorite holiday is Halloween. When I was a kid I couldn't get enough of campfire ghost stories.
As a teenager, I fell in love with the big screen, and the expansive offerings of the horror genre has been an artistic inspiration to me ever since. The creativity, craft, and sensibility of horror storytellers cater perfectly to the artist, adrenaline junky, and folklore buff in me.

In 2018, I took inspiration from Inktober, the annual drawing challenge that prompts artists with a word for each day of October to inspire their piece. I spun this concept to produce one illustration a day - each showcasing a different horror movie I like, of my choice.
